A Basic Guide to the One-o-One of FreeTSP History

The FreeTSP idea was conceived by a bunch of like minded folk (Krypto, FireKnight, Denno1234, Subzero & Spook) who wanted to create a BitTorrent source that was fundamentally different than what's on the market today and was easy for new comers to get a site up and running and that was also easy to learn and modify.

We've taken ideas/inspirations from various sources (TBDev, BTIT etc...) and other venues from around the internet and used these to try and create something that is both new and unique.

Our aim is to start of with the basic code (Default Base Code) which will be our initial release. Once members have had a chance to use it and examine it we can take any suggestions/critism that's made and build newer and better releases.

We have many thoughts and ideas as to where to take the code and to what level, and some of these will be implemented in due course, while other may just remain an idea.

It's not been an easy road to get to where we are now, sure we've had dissagreements along the way and our fair share of ups and downs, like any new venture has. Luckily we have a good team and we've managed to communicate with each other to resolve these, and as your able to read this statement this is testament to that.

Our motto is K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid)
